| Alana Lawton is a classically trained painter, with a background in the subculture of Pulp Fiction and Avante Garde Self Expression. She is aspiring to make artwork that truly leaves a mark for the artist and audience in a visual experience. Therefore, it was only natural that the vintage trade of tattooing would be the next step for this young aspiring artist. From the beauty of the pin-up girls to the mystery of the skull, Alana "Lawless" Lawton has become a young and upcoming name in the CT tattoo scene. I am grateful to have the unique opportunity to work alongside not only one but every artist that works at Hartford County Tattoo. In the last few years, I have been exposed to different styles of art and tattooing techniques which is reflected not just in my tattoos, but also in my paintings. This exposure has helped me be able to create and explore my own style. One of the strongest influences in my work is definitely my father.
In every sketch, painting and tattoo is the drive to be as great of an artist as he is.
